🌱 Unpack how perfectionism, competition, and exclusion reinforce White supremacy and patriarchy
🌱 How to step into solidarity and accountability in a new way
🌱 Cultivate deeper trust, collaboration, and meaning within diverse relationships
🌱 Turn awareness into action with practical steps toward collective change
This is your invitation.
We are calling in White women who are ready to move beyond silence, beyond performative allyship, and into deep, committed action. This workshop is not about guilt—it is about transformation. It’s about recognizing the ways White women have upheld systems of oppression and choosing instead courageous accountability to build a new way forward.
Unpacking the history.
In this workshop, we will unpack the historical construction of race and the ways White women have uniquely participated in and been shaped by systems of oppression. You will be presented with a big picture view, tracing how ideas of race and hierarchy were institutionalized from the 16th century to today, examining their lasting impacts and how they continue to be perpetuated.
A specific focus.
While many people of different identities have and continue to experience exclusion and oppression, this workshop focuses on the effects of slavery. We explore the specific role White women have played in the past, and the shaping of a new role going forward. We then explore through reflection and discussion how White women can move beyond historical patterns and embrace a new, active and intentional role in collective liberation.
Whether you're just beginning to learn, exploring how to step into this work, or already committed to helping dismantle oppressive systems, this experience is for you.
